Vibe

The festival is seen as a positive influence on the youth market who feel disenfranchised by music found in the charts. Because of this over 70% of the attenders are teens, the festival is regarded as a much safer and less wilder option then Reading and Leeds festival. For many teens Redfest is either the perfect choice of a first festival, or one that they enjoy returning to for mid summer fun.

Stages and other entertainment

As well catching the live music, the festival also has late bars, camping, market stalls, good food and drink and a vintage fun fair. There are in total three different stages:

  • The Main Stage: Where you will find the freshest and most exciting new bands, as well as some more established artists
  • Introducing Stage: Breaking artists and brand new acts
  • The Total Uprawr Stage (alternative rock, metal, punk and hardcore): not for the feint hearted.
