Created in 2008 as UK’s 30th anniversary of Bob Marley’s famous concert of the same name.
One Love Festival is the UK’s No1 Reggae and Dub camping event.

One Love Festival attracts fun, loving Reggae and Dub music lovers from all ages, from all around Europe and even further. There is a relaxed and chilled atmosphere but it can also change into a party/carnival vibe.
It is a family friendly orientated festival too.
History and facts
The first festival was held in 2008.
The festival is a tribute to Bob Marley and The Wailers performance at the One Love Peace concert in Kingston’s National Arena in 1978.
This year's festival falls on the 50th anniversary of Jamaica's Independence Year.
One Love Festival promotes the importance of love and peace.
Music stages and other entertainment
On site information
The noise volumes can get loud the closer you are to a stage, so it's advised to take ear plugs in case you stand near a speaker or close to a stage.
The festival is held in the middle of the UK summer. So summer clothing is recommended as well as plenty of sun-cream.
However this is the UK, so it is advisable to check the weather closer to the time as it is known to rain. Also it maybe warm during the day, it can get cool in the evening so warm/waterproof clothing should be brought too for emergencies.
One Love Festival runs from Friday 10th - Sunday 12th August 2012.
Camping opens at 1pm on the Friday and the main arena gates open at 4pm on the Friday and close 11pm on Sunday.
There is no smoking inside the venues, however smoking is allowed in any outdoor area.
There are cash points located around the festival. It is very likely that these cash points will charge so it's advised that you bring enough cash into the festival and it would save you queuing and missing out any of the acts.
Merchandise & Programmes:
There are a number of stalls located around the festival site selling One Love Festival and act's merchandise and programmes.
Bringing Your Own Alcohol:
You are allowed to bring in your own alcohol into the camp site but no glass bottles. Own alcohol consumption is restricted to the camp site only – 1 bottle of sprit (plastic bottles), 1 case of beer (24 Cans), 1 Case of Wine (6 plastic bottles) – no shopping trips out allowed to purchase alcohol, any alcohol found being brought into campsite from a shopping trip will be confiscated.
No alcohol is to be allowed to be brought into main festival arena.
General bins and Recycling bins:
There are plenty of general and recycling bins located around the festival site.
Toilets are placed at various locations around the festival site.
There are also showering facilities in the camping area alongside the luxury flushing toilets.
No open fires in are allowed in the camp site but you are allowed to have BBQ's.
Food and drink
There are food vendors at the festival should you wish to purchase food and onsite bars serving a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Picnics are permitted.
Drugs at the festival
Drugs are strictly prohibited from the festival. Anyone found with or using illegal drugs will be removed from the event and the police would be informed.

The camp site opens at 1pm on Friday 10th until midday Sunday 12th August.

If people do not want to camp, they are allowed to leave to festival at the end of each day and return the following day.
There are a number of hotels located around the surrounding area of The Hop Farm. Tonbridge and Maidstone is the nearest towns with numerous accommodation facilities.

Location and travel
The address of the One Love Festival is - The Hop Farm Family Park, Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Kent, TN12 6PY.
Hop Farm is easily accessible by car and is serviced by many main roads from London, Tonbridge Wells, Brighton, Canterbury, Eastbourne and Hastings.

National Express and Megabus have many routes from all over the country that run to Tonbridge and Maidstone.
The nearest train station to Hop Farm is Paddock Wood Station. Trains run there from various locations and journeys can be planned on The Trainline.
The nearest airports to Hop Farm are Heathrow and Gatwick International.

All under 18 year old's must be accompanied by an adult. An adult cannot be responsible for more than 4 under 18 year olds each. Proof of age for child tickets may be required on site.
