Highlights

2012 sees the event celebrate it's 50th birthday with the following films and highlights:

  • OPENING FILM: Ang Lee's 3D adaptation of Yann Martel's Life Of Pi
  • Micael Haneke's Amour - a Palme d'Or winner at Cannes 2012 - a drama about an elderly couple dealing with the ravages of old age
  • Yesim Ustaoglu's Araf - Somewhere In Between - A teenage girl becomes sexually obsessed with a long distance trucker
  • Hyde Park On hudson Bill Murray plays Franklin D Roosevelt in drama comedy drama about his relationship with his cousin
  • Tabu Miquel Gomes' surrealist piece, a movie as a dream.
  • Brian De Palma's Passion a tale of female competition and revenge staring Noomi Rapace and Rachel McAdams.
  • Pablo Larrain's No - Gael Garcia Bernals plays a Chilean admanin this political thriller.
  • CLOSING FILM: Robert Zemeckis' Flight a thriller starring Denzel Washington

Nicole Kidman Honour

Oscar-winning actress, Nicole Kidman, will be honoured at a gala tribute event on October 3rd, this event will include an onstage converstation as as a screening of Lee Daniels' The Paperboy - a film that stars the actress as well as Zac Efron, John Cusack and Matthe McConaughey.

In this category you have general public booking along with Patron priority and Member priority ticketing.

The packages vary, with some allowing you to view 10 screenings, with the convergence pass allowing unlimited access to all Convergence events at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center on September 29 and 30

VIP

VIP tickets fall into the $15,000 - $50,000 region and include tickets to all events, VIP lounges, booked tables and access to NYFF's exclusive concierge team.
