Accommodation

There is an array of hotels, b&bs and hostels to stay at.

Festival punters are also given the opportunity to take part in Motel Mozaïque’s Sleeping Project which enables you to spend the night in Rotterdam in a playful and exciting way. Remarkable locations within the city are specially designed into a real motel, where guests can enjoy a night’s rest plus breakfast.

Past locations include a church, tree huts, shop windows, a construction site and for last year, the roof of a national monument. Artist collectives handle breakfast - last year 200 people had a huge breakfast in the middle of Rotterdam’s largest shopping street – and appropriate entertainment: a lullaby to send you to sleep or a wakeup call from people in candyfloss balls, ready for you to take a bite from.

2013: Motel Mozaique have acquired Rotterdam’s concert hall de Doelen for this year’s Sleeping Project, located in the Schowburgplein – the heart of the festival – punters will be staying on the first floor of this venue that plays host to more than 1,200 events annually. The festival’s main venue Rotterdamse Schowburg is also conveniently situated on the other side of the same square. Tickets for 2013’s Sleeping Project are available to purchase separately from your festival ticket as numbers are strictly limited.
