Electric Daisy Carnival is an Insomniac branded festival series that takes place between May and August over several locations.

Baseed in the US, Apart from covering Orlando, Colorado, Texas and Las Vegas in the US, the event also takes place in Puerto Rico, Spain. On top of that every year sees the event travel to other cities around the world.

EDC festivals include an array of attractions, full-sized carnival rides, art installations and hundreds of performers. No longer simply an electronic music festival, EDC has become a one of a kind entertainment experience that combines the worlds most renowned dance music talent, with leading-edge production.

Founded by Insomniac Events, it is known as North America's largest electronic music festival of it's kind. It began as a one day event in California and has since expanded into 2 and 3 day events.

The first Electronic Daisy Carnival rave happened in 1997, and took place at the Shrine Expo Hall in LA, over a decade later the event gained the nickname of "American Ibiza" as it was at the time the biggest Electronic festival outside of Europe.

Past lineups

2012 - Las Vegas enjoyed Fedde Le Grand, Blue Man Group And Steve Aoki, Funkaganeda, Bassjackers, and Tiesto. With the event also taking place in Puerto Rico with headliners DIGITALISM, Tommy Trash, Manufactured Superstars, ANDY C, Figure, Downlink and more.

In 2011, Orlando featured Tiesto, Afrojack, Dirty South, Paul Van Dyk, Benny Benassi, Ferry Corsten and many more. Colorado had Ferry Corsten, Axwell, Sander Van Doorn and more.

Texas also had Paul Van Dyk, Axwell as well as in Markus Schulz, Las Vegas had Trent Cantrelle, Joaquin Bamaca, Wippenberg, Kastle, Crizzly, Android Cartel, R3hab, Alesso, Hernan Cattaneo, Zedd, The Juggernaut, Thomas Gold, EC Twins, Moguai, Stanton Warriors, Fury w/ MC Dino, Tara Brooks

Lastly in 2011, Puerto Rico featured: Infected Mushroom, Cosmic Gate, Z-Trip
