The month of October sees a celebration of Britain's fantastic Real Ale at The Ebrington Arms, a traditional Cotswold country pub near Chipping Campden.
The Ebrington Arms October Beer Festival is a month-long series of events that include a Beer & Food Matching Afternoon and a Blind Tasting session. Events will run every Saturday afternoon in October between 3-6pm and you can visit any time throughout the month to sample The Ebrington Arms' Beer flights - the closest relative to wine tasting in the Real Ale world.
The festival culminates on Friday 25th & Saturday 26th October with the Yubberton Beer Festival, when the pub will showcase ten real ale pumps, all on their tiny Cotswold bar. There will be live music and delicious food served each day, and all ales will be fully cellar conditioned and hand pulled, including the pub’s very own beer, Yubby Bitter.
Saturday 12th October - Blind Tasting
If you would like to sample some fabulous beers and test your knowledge on beer, then why not try their Blind Tasting session? This special event is hosted by Guy Holiday, head honcho at North Cotswold Brewery, and aims to challenge your preconceptions about the UK Real Ale. Points and prizes awarded!
Saturday 19th October - Beer and Food Matching
This Beer and Food matching afternoon is a fun tasting session hosted by Food Science Expert, Dr Julian South. He is passionate about beer and food and will take you through various beer and food pairings, offering advice and useful insights. Julian will also take you through the interesting history and science behind our nation’s favourite drink. This will run from 3-6pm at The Ebrington Arms.
