Dimensions Festival is a four day festival held the weekend after it's brother festival Outlook, taking place at Fort Punta Christo, Pula, Croatia, in a 150 year old fort. The festival features a programme of House, Techno, Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and similar sub-genres.

Due to its shore side location, festival goers can relax by the beach during the day, and party at night. During the day there are boat parties

Lineup

2013 confirmed line-up so far includes Moodymann, Ben Klock, Gold Panda, Marcel Dettmann, Dyed Soundorom, Little Dragon, Joy Orbison, Scuba, Floating Points, Theo Parrish, Surgeon, Shackleton, Jimmy Edgar, Levon Vincent, Andrew Weatherall, Mala - Digital Mystikz and Kode 9.

Vibe

Tailored to a discerning crowd, Dimensions aims to deliver once again a remarkable festival of the world’s best live electronic acts and DJs across four nights of carefully curated programming from the team behind Outlook Festival. This is not an EDM festival for the masses, but features some perhaps less well known, but absolutely first class DJs.

Stages and other entertainment

The festival has several stages, each with its own sound. During the day those attending, for a small fee, can keep dancing on boat parties.

Tickets

The normal festival ticket costs £135, while it is £150 including the opening concert.

It is also possible to book a joint Outlook and Dimensions ticket for £245.

Weather

Unless you are unlucky you can expect sunny weather so bring you swim suit! Do check the weather beforehand though.

Location

The festival’s venue is unlike any other in the world. Taking place in a 19th Century Fort originally built by the Austrians to defend what was their main naval port, Fort Punta Christo with its courtyard, moat, ballroom and dungeon, feels like a re-discovered forgotten world that is transformed into magical venues for the duration of the festival.

Local Information

The city of Pula, in the stunning region of Istria in Croatia, is steeped in history and home to many ancient Roman buildings, including the magnificent amphitheatre, offering festival goers beautiful and unspoiled natural surroundings to enjoy in addition to the festivals vibe and music

Travel

The closest airport to Dimensions is Pula, 20 minutes away. Trieste, Venice, Ljubljana and Zagreb are all in driving distance of the festival. The festival offers coaches that can be booked to get to the location here.

For £185 it is possible to book a coach from the UK that goes straight to the festival.

Accommodation

There are various accommodation options. It is possible to book a hostel that is on the site of the festival here

It is possible to book tents on the hostel grounds here for £15 a night.

If the hostel is fully booked, and you don't fancy camping, you can book some cheap local accommodation for £35 a night not far from the festival here.

Volunteer or work

There are several volunteering options. Volunteers can pay a £135 deposit and get free entrance, camping, three meals, provided that they do 3 8 hour shifts.

There are also various volunteering options for people who want to get into event management, that include working for the management team, pre-event volunteer placement, or contributing to the site design.

It's also possible to work for a rep for the festival, selling tickets. For every 9 sold you can get a free ticket, and then £5 commission for everyone after that.
