2012 line-up, rumours, news and updates

On 23rd April, organisers announced on the festival's Facebook that a line-up announcement was due soon.

Location and travel

Cork X SW takes place in the 200 acre countryside setting of Liss Ard Estate, Skibbereen, West Cork, Ireland.

Camping and other accommodation

Free camping is available for all ticket holders on the festival site and the festival gates will be open for campers on Friday 3rd between 6 and 9pm.

The main campsite is right next to the festival grounds and there is a smaller quieter camping are for families or anyone who’d like to take advantage of it.

Music stages and other entertainment

The two day event will feature many interesting performance spaces around the Liss Ard Estate, from music stages, singer songwriter living rooms, poetry and speakers corners to writer gatherings, sculptural installations and visual exhibitions. There will also be an 'eco-area' with workshops and seminars, along with a food village showcasing the West Cork produce and a fun area for young people to hang out.

Food and drink

There is a whole host of food available at Cork X SW Festival ranging from BBQ chicken, organic burgers, to sushi and Thai curries.

The Slow Food Village will be offering delicious, healthy, hearty local produce from a select number of local artisans.
