70s - Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Earth, Wind and Fire, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk

80s - U2, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Bon Jovi and The Police

90s - Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Sonic Garden, Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis

I am not so well versed in the dates, but here goes:

60s - The Doors, The Monkees, Jefferson Aiplane, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix

70s - Don't know? Pink Floyd, and maybe others I don't recognize by name.

80s - Skid Row, and then I am at a loss. It's hard to remember the 80s.

90s - Marilyn Manson, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, and Nirvana

In the 80's I would have to say Blondie, and although he's more of a solo artist - Prince & The Revolution.

In the 90's it would be Radiohead and Queens Of The Stone Age, and I suppose Foo Fighters.

From the 70's back, I don't really have any favorites, since I'm usually sick of hearing all those songs over and over.
