The iTunes festival is an annual concert series, where tickets are given away free to iTunes customers, as well as to fans in competitions. First held since 2007, the Apple Inc sponsored month-long event takes place in September at The Roundhouse art centre in London.

Originally named Virgin Fest, Virgin Mobile Festival is a rock festival held in United States, a spin off of the UK's V Festival. Since 2009 the event has been dubbed Virgin Mobile FreeFest due to the free cost of tickets.

Moogfest is an annual multi venue electronic music festival, which takes place in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. Taking place every October, the event takes place in Asheville, as it is where Robert Arthur "Bob" Moog, the inventor of the Moog synthesizer and founding father of electronic music, spent the last thirty years of his life.

Edinburgh Festival is the collective term used for the many arts & cultural festivals, which take place every summer in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Usually in August, while each festival is its own even with its own organisation, visitors associate them together, and they are co-ordinated by the Edinburgh Festival overarching organisation. As for the most part they coincide in August, it makes that month one of the largest annual cultural festival celebrations in the world.
