Tomorrowland: Global Journey Package

Every year a horde of neon clad 20-somethings descend onto the little town of Boom in Belgium for a weekend of madness at the world's biggest electronic dance music festival, Tomorrowland. Thankfully, organisers have decided to help the party-hungry swarm make its way to De Schorre, the grounds where the festival is held by offering Global Journey Packages. The package includes a return ticket, travel from the airport to the festival, and accommodation.

Is it Worth it?

Getting to a festival can be a logistical nightmare, with the Global Journey package staff help you every step of the away, with special Tomorrowland desks present in the city you are departing from, and in Brussels Airport. It also means you can travel with fellow festival goers and make friends before even getting to Tomorrowland, as well as receiving a special bracelet and a copy of the Tomorrowland newspaper.

Who's Doing it?

2013 saw a massive explosion in the scope and scale of Tomorrowland's Global Journey Packages. 8,000 people from 92 different countries came to Tomorrowland using Global Journey packages, a 4 fold increase compared to the previous year. 140 flights were booked from 67 different cities, with most people coming from Brazil, Tel Aviv, and Geneva. Australians, at a massive 2,236 tickets sold, used the packages the most, followed by the British and the Swiss. The Choices

What's great about Global Journey Packages is the amount of choice that you are given to customise your purchase to match it with what is right for you. Don't like camping? No problem, you can stay in a hotel (three, four, or five stars), with transport to the festival site and daily meals included. If you want to stay in the Dreamville camping then book a Relax Room cabin and enjoy the luxury of toilets with running water! For those of you who are looking to save money, and have the rough and tumble camping experience, no worries, just get the Dreamville camping pass. You can customise your Global Journey Package to make it fit all your festival needs; of course, it will mostly likely be cheaper to buy the tickets (accommodation, festival, travel) separately, but it is much easier this way, and means you will be assisted by the Tomorrowland staff on your way there.

Party Planes

This year 10 of the planes were party planes, meaning that they had special Tomorrowland promoters on them to get festival goers on board in the mood, as well as playing videos of the previous year's festival to get the crowd pumped. 8 of those planes actually had music playing on board to make them flying discos; 2 very special planes actually had live DJ sets by Dmitri Vegas and Yves V- out of this world (or at least above it)!
