Poland's Tauron Nowa Muzyka festival to return in 2014

Tauron Nowa Muzyka (TNM) festival, based in the industrial town of Katowice in Poland, returns to its original home in a disused coal mine in 2014 after a two-year hiatus. The epic industrial site has undergone extensive refurbishment and has been transformed into an electronic music mecca, a fitting backdrop to the avant-garde sound of TNM.

The festival, which was voted Best Small European Festival in 2012, is planning on making 2014 a very big year. Line-up announcements have included huge names such as Hessle Audio founder Ben UFO, Innervisions' head honcho Dixon, 80’s inspired Jackson & his Computerband, lady of the moment Kelela, ledgendary German duo Mouse on Mars, amazingly talented Chet Faker, Danish trio WhoMadeWho and distinctive Sorry Boys.

There will also be a very special celebration this year for dubstep label, Hyperdub who will be celebrating 10 years with artists from the label featuring heavily in the line-up including label boss Kode9, Iknonika, Cooly G and classically trained musician Laurel Halo.

Four day tickets for Taruon Nowa Muzyka cost just £40. For more information visit www.festiwalnowamuzyka.pl/en/.
