Vibe

Bringing together an eclectic mix of House, R'n'B, Soul, Breakbeats, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and Garage music with a full line-up of DJs and live performances, the South Port Weekender attracts a mixed crowd.

Stages and other entertainment

During the festival, the holiday complex is transformed to a multi-faceted entertainment centre and has four purpose built dance arenas inside the main building. These are:

• The Powerhouse, claimed to be UK’s largest indoor dance room with a 2000 capacity and great sound systems.
• The Funkbase which features soul music, hip-hop, R n’ B and club classics and as the name suggests, funk is the main character here.
• The Beat Bar which offers an eclectic mix of rich Jazz Funk, Broken Beats, Drum n Bass to Techno, Deep and Soulful House.
• The Connoisseurs Corner which features rare groove, disco, soulful garage and 70s, 80s and Modern soul and is home to some of the key players in the UK soul music scene.

Tickets

The total cost averages out at £185 per person, which includes, bedrooms, bathroom and separate lounge area with adjoining fitted kitchen, complete with cooker, fridge and all utensils. They can be bought from the official website.

Tickets have now sold out, however organisers state a couple of hundred places may by available on Wednesday 13th February 2013 at 1pm GMT

Accommodation

There are 2 types of room available and the price of your ticket includes accommodation for the Friday and Saturday evening and all music until the finale close at 7pm on the Sunday.

Self Catering Apartments - Including bedrooms, bathroom and separate lounge area with adjoining fitted kitchen, complete with cooker, fridge and all utensils. These are currently available in sizes sleeping 4, 6 and 7 people (Please note, each room has at least one double bed which counts as sleeping 2 people). These cost £185 per person.

Room Only - Including beds, bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and TV. These are currently available to sleep 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 people. 2 person rooms are available with either twin or double beds. (Please state which you require at the time of booking otherwise we will assume and allocate a double bed). These cost £175 per person.
