Soundwave Festival Croatia is a 3 day live music event, that also includes 5 days of side parties.

The festival universally praised for providing a decent programme of entertainment, for a price that only just pushed past the £100 mark.

Vibe

Many consider this to be a festival holiday, with the beach setting, terraced bars and the very popular and infamous boat party.The event is a popular choice for those who enjoy jazz, dub, electronic and reggae with a bit of hiphop and r&b on the side. Taking part on a wooded peninsula, the trees all light up at night, with a lighting effect that many describe as magical.

Stages and other entertainment

There is a main stage which is set in the tree lined area of the seafront, The Beach Stage where many can dance right in the Adriatic sea whilst listening to DJs.

There is also the Barbarellas Discotheque, which is almost like the onsite nightclub, as well as the ever so popular Boat Party.

Tickets cost £199 including festival brochure and can be purchased via Ticketweb, Leedstickets, Wegottickets, Seetickets and via the official site.

Under 14’s entry Free of Charge when accompanied by their family, Attendees must be 18+ unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Local Information

Tisno part straddles the Croatian mainland and the Island of Murter, linked by a 20m bridge. Tisno is located 45km south of Zadar airport and 65km north of Split airport so is ideally situated for those of you flying in. The charming town is picture perfect with a host of restaurants, cafes, apartments and small boutique hotels

Travel

BY RAIL: Eurostar to Northern Italy and then take a train through Slovenia into Croatia, although please be advised that buses in Croatia are much quicker than the trains.

BY AIR: British Airways (USA), Easyjet, Ryanair, Wizzair, Flybe, Jet2, Thomsonfly.

Food and drink

Many reviews suggest that amongst the burgers and chicken, the healthier options of wraps and salad prove difficult to eat during live settings.

But it is often the popular thing for revellers to visit the surrounding village of Petrcane, providing a fantastic range of different priced restaurants and shops.
