Lineup
2013: Plan B, Goldfrapp, Azealia Banks, D'Angelo, Hurts, Jurrasic 5, Rudimental, Foreign Beggars, Alunageorge, Netsky Live and many more.
Vibe
Held annually on London’s oldest public park bordering Bethnal Green, Hackney, and Bow, the capital’s most creative and socially dynamic quarters, Lovebox as a festival, an urban event or “happening” is without comparison.
Music has always been at the heart of Lovebox; with all the rock & roll chaos and glamour of supercharged sets, epic performances with dramatic backdrops, and chuggy jams under the trees from bands and DJs spanning the genres.
(Our editor Cynthia Franklin attended the 2011 and 2012 event, you can read her review here and here
Stages and other entertainment
The music stages at the festival include the Main Stage, the Gaymers Stage which acts as a second main stage, Gaymers Cider and Music Bar with its own rooftop party, the Relentless Energy Drink arena, The Stockade and The Bacardi Get Together that are the two dance stages and NYC Downlow - a lifesize ruin of a New York building.
There is also Fringe Street, an entertainment area, including art installations, a vintage fair, shops selling tea, cake and music, circus performers and art galleries.
