The festival had a unique set up, where everything is laied out on the edges and outskirts of the arena space, leaving plenty of open space in the middle to be enjoyed. Another unique quality to Open'er is thier militray air base, which is used separately for the silent disco and the fashion show, which showcases the best of the local fashion designers.

Camping

Unlike many festival camping sites, where spots work on a first come, first serve basis, When you arrive at Open'er festival, you wait in a queue as your group is allocated a space.

Working on a grid system, its much easier and less stressful especially when in big groups, and when making the journey to bed each night.

One aspect that is mentioned in many reviews is that a shuttle bus trip to the town is essential, as campsite food on sale is limited, which is reflected by many choosing to stay in Gdynia town as opposed to camp.

Food and drink

Unfortunately - due to local laws - you are not allowed to drink in the main arena, only at the sectioned off areas by the food vendors. However like many European festivals in Poland, beer prices are inspiringly cheap. You can buy meals and groceries in the catering areas and stalls at the festival.

On a campsite, catering zone is open 24 hours a day. There is a beer shop, soft drink point and cash machine and festival cash desks where you can buy festival coupons. Barbecue zone is also set up on a campsite, where you can bring your own equipment and make a small or huge party.
