Having run every year since 2008, Relentless Freeze Festival is UK's only snow, ski and music festival and is host to a 32 metre High Ski jump, with 500 tonnes of REAL snow and a 10,000 capcity big top for the music.

Taking place against the backdrop of Battersea Power Station, including jaw dropping ski and snowboarding stunts and performances from some of the big names in British music.

Stages and other entertainment

As well as all the music that is taking place across two stages on both days, there is the 32 metre high Big Air Jump, various competitions such as the International Big Ski Air, the Ski Union Battle of Britain, the Snowboard FIS World Cup, the Whitelines Battle of Britain and the EU vs the World that will all display the best ski and snowboard skills from across the globe.

26/08/12: Weekend tickets for the 2012 event have sold out, however Saturday Tickets are still available at the following prices via SeeTickets:

  • Adult: £44.00
  • Child (Under 15) £22.00
  • Saturday VIP: General admission to site on the Saturday, access to the VIP bar, VIP toilets, VIP grand stand seating located next to the VIP bar and entrance to festival through VIP queue. (grand stand seating is limited and on a first come first served basis) £87.50

Travel

There is no car parking at this event.

By Train or Tube:

  • Vauxhall – Vauxhall Underground (Victoria Line) - then use the bus or it is a 15minute walk.
  • Queenstown Road Station (overland from Waterloo) - then a 10 minute walk.
  • Battersea Park Station (overland from Victoria) - then a 9 minute walk.
  • Sloane Square Underground (District & Circle Line) - then take the bus South over Chelsea Bridge.

By Bus:

Local bus routes: 156 & 344 (24hr) A quick and easy service from Vauxhall, Wimbledon, Clapham Junction and Liverpool Street Stations to within 2 minute walk of the event gate.

Travelling From Outside the UK:

  • London has a few airports, the easiest two to get to central London from are Gatwick and Heathrow. Other main airports include Stansted and Luton, Euro Star also travels into Kings Cross St Pancras.
  • Heathrow: is about 45 minutes by either tube (Piccadilly line) or taxi.
  • Gatwick: is about 30minutes by train from Victoria Station (or London Bridge but Victoria is closer to the event), the train station is actually inside the airport which makes it very convenient even with luggage.
  • Luton: is about 45 minutes from Kings Cross St Pancras station, this is a little less convenient but flights are often cheaper.
  • Stansted: is about 45 minutes from Liverpool Street station, again this is a little less convenient but flights are also often cheap.
  • Euro Star: arrives in Kings Cross St Pancras which is on many of the tube line including the Victoria line which you can take to Vauxhall to get to Freeze .

There are various catering stands and bars dotted around the festival but these are cash only. Although there are cash machines on site it is recommended that you bring cash with you to avoid queues.
