Corona Capital is Mexico’s leading annual arts & music festival, which has a unique combination of world-class international line up and prime location right in the heart of Mexico City.

Featuring a mixture of international acts in addition to local up and coming artists, Corona Capital 2012 looks set to cement its place as one of the world’s best festivals. With an initial line-up that including heavyweight acts The Black Keys, 80s British legends New Order and other-worldly songstress Florence and The Machine, 2012 looks to establish Corona Capital as a contender on the global festival scene.
Other headliners so far include Suede, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, The Maccabees, The Drums, Sleigh bells, Alabama Shakes and many more.
The 2011 line-up included credible acts The Strokes, The Rapture, Moby, Wild Beasts, Portishead and 2010 saw performance from The Temper Trap, Two Door Cinema Club, The Pixies, Interpol, Regina Spektor, Foals, White Lies and Echo & The Bunnymen.
Taking place over the weekend of the 13th and 14th October, Corona Capital features over 24 hours of uninterrupted music, across 4 stages and includes over 30 musical acts of various genres.
Much focus is also placed on arts and culture within the festival due to the unique location and ‘cultural hub’ status of the city in which it is set
