Made In America

Made In America is a festival headlined and curated by US rapper, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur Jay-Z. Before unveiling the initial line-up, Jay-Z stated that he wanted to "break barriers" with the Labor Day gathering.

At his press conference on the stairs of the Philadelphia Musuem of Art, Jay-Z stated "Whenever I enter into a project, i try to hit on some touch point. The first thing is: Is it great? The second one is: is it gonna push the culture forward?"

Mawazine

Mawazine (which translates to "Rhythms") is a festival of world music that takes place annually in the Moroccan capital of Rabat. Acts featured on the line-up mix Arab and International music icons.

To many in the country, the festival is important in promoting a positive and tolerent image of Morocco. Although met with controversy with politicians claiming the event encourages immoral behaviour, the festival has gone from strength to strength.

Oxjam

Oxjam is a month-long music festival which raises money for the international organization and charity Oxfam, whose mission is to fight poverty worldwide.
