Boomtown Fair

BoomTown Fair is a UK festival that takes place in August. It features 4 days of live music and art event that offers an array of fringe comedy and theatre. The festival has an ongoing theme surrounding the "legend" of the festival. A lot of effort goes into the decorations, and fancy dress is encouraged, adding to the vibe of the festival. The festival is divided into various 'districts', each with its own camping ground.

Reading and Leeds

are a pair of musical events that take place simultaneously, in different locations, during the English August bank holiday weekend. With 3 days of heavy metal bands, DJ's and a capacity of about 8000, this ever growing festival is definitely holding its own and worth checking out if you want something different and seriously heavy!
