are a pair of musical events that take place simultaneously, in different locations, during the English August bank holiday weekend. Over the years the event has changed considerably, although in recent time the festival's line up features mostly Rock, Alternative, Metal, Punk, Electro and Indie music.
The first FREEfestival took place on June 22 2013 involving 99 bands playing in 11 venues in Barnsley Town Centre. Over 3,000 people turned out to watch a wide variety of bands, heavy metal, dance, punk, indie, soul, acoustic and comedy.
Forró is a type of traditional Brazilian dance, accompanied by live music. Forró dancers dance in pairs, and there are a variety of different styles originating from different parts of Brazil. The Forró Fest celebrates this traditional dance by bringing some of that warm South American Energy to the street of London.
This gathering is about community, making connections, exploring the new and enjoying the comforts of a festival with hot showers and loads of lovely people and food!
End of the Road is an independently run indie music festival, set in the surrounds of the Larmer Tree Gardens with a clean green focus. This festival features four main stages of great entertainment, another asepct of EOTR's appeal is the alternative entertainment and the amazing effort that goes into putting the site together with quirky and heartfelt decoration.
