Incubate festival

Incubate is the annual celebration of cutting edge culture in Tilburg, the Netherlands. It is a festival exhibiting a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including a lot of music, visual arts, debate, film and contemporary dance. Driven by artistic development, Incubate brings more than 200 cutting edge artists in an intimate context to an international audience. Black metal next to free folk. Refreshing art next to inspiring debate.

The tenth edition of Incubate takes place on 15 to 21 September 2014 in the city of Tilburg in The Netherlands and its surroundings. From pub to church. From pop venue to farm.

STORM Electronic Festival

Festival Number 6

Festival No. 6 was inaugurated a year ago, and remains rather unique. The festival takes place in the village of Portmeirion in Wales, modelled after an Italian coastal town. The festival takes place through the entirety of the town, and festival organiser's recommend that festival goers stay inside its confines for the duration of the festival.

Monterey Jazz Festival

Located on the coastline between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Moterrey is host to one of the biggest and oldest annual jazz festivals in the world. Started in 1958, making it one of the oldest jazz festivals in the world. Since its inception it attracted some of the biggest names in the world of jazz, including Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, and Billie Holiday. The festival includes 8 stages, is out in the open at the 20-acre Monterey Fairgrounds. Festival goers, in adition to the concerts, can attend a variety of exhibitions, workshops and discussions.

Sun and Bass

The ultimate combination of sun, sea, and drum and bass. The festival takes place in the sea-side town of San Teodoro, in the island of Sardegna. Even by Italian standards the Sardinian water and beaches are incredible, and many of Italy's VIP vacation there (Silvio Berlusconi has a villa there). The event, strictly speaking, isn't a festival, there is no camping or stages, rather there are various musical events that take place throughout the town, in stylish open air clubs, usually next to or near the beach.

Hopscotch

Hopscotch Music Festival is an annual 3-day music festival held in Raleigh, North Carolina every September. Founded in 2010 by Independent Weekly, a local alternative newspaper, Hopscotch music festival is now owned by Carolina Independent Publications and hosts local, international and continental acts with an emphasis on variety.
