Cheltenham Festivals!

Cheltenham Festivals is a not-for-profit organisation, with is both a charity and company, who generate £5.2million for their local economy as well as provide jobs.

Under the one organisation, they hold four extraordinary festivals, making Cheltenham festivals on of the leading cultural organisations in the country.

Each festival combines elements of the rising acts, controversial acts, young artists and unique entertainment.

West Fest

West Fest is one of the UK's biggest underground and indoor dance music events, taking place annually in Somerset.

Rumpus

Rumpus is a party style one day festival that takes part in London other other month. Their ethos is to great the vibe of a great party that goes beyond cramming people into one room with one style of music.

Based around creative collaboration, the event prefers to work with artist and performers who experiment, as opposed to seasoned and rigid professionals.

Waves Vienna

Waves Vienna is a club showcase festival in Austria, taking place in the area's most significant clubs, the event merges unique locations with beautiful public spaces. There is also a conference featuring lectures, panels and workshops.

Lineup

For 2012, the motto is "East meets West" with a focus on Polish and French acts together.The conference will also pay attention to programme about the markets in these areas.

Renaissance Festival

A renaissance festival, faire or fair is are public gathering which aim to emulate specific historic periods for the entertainment of their guests

Many are commerical in nature, with many residing as permanent theme parks, while many try their best to create an authentic mood. Entertainment can range from music, theatre, arts and similar entertainments enjoyed in the chosen periods.

Popular periods include the time during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I of England, other take place in much earlier tiems such as The Vikings, or later such as 18th Century pirates.

Grimmfest

Grimmfest is Manchester's premium international festival of horror and cult films! Along with various film premières and screenings, there are also guest talks and signings as well as competitions and merchandise.

The following films are set to appear at the event with the organisers stating "Everyone of our 2012 movies is a premiere of some sort, be it World (COMEDOWN) or Manchester (COCKNEYS VS ZOMBIES)."
