The Montreux Jazz Festival is the second largest jazz festival in the world and the largest jazz festival in Europe, as well as being Switzerland's largest festival of any variety. With a lineup that isn't exclusively Jazz, the festival caters to a wider audience than hardened jazz fanatics, but also acts as a gateway to jazz for those who are less familiar with it.
Tomorrowland is an electronic music festival and one of the largest festivals in Europe. Its unique psychedelic carnival atmosphere is complemented by its electronic and dance music (referred to in the USA as EDM) line-up that also features other similar sub-genres such as trance, house and rave music.
Roskilde Festival is a 9 day (including 5 warm-up days) annual music festival held in the south of Rosklide in Denmark, with an estimated attendance of 110,000 people a day, it is amongst the six biggest music festivals in Europe.
Since it’s launch in 1971, the festival has been known for it’s support and development of music, humanism and culture.
Early 2013 rumours indicated that Daft Punk may be confirmed, however it has been conformed no tour dates can be expected until 2014.

Electric Daisy Carnival UK is the British version of the international festival franchise. The original Electric Daisy Carnival was held in Los Angeles. Since then it has expanded to Puerto Rico, Mexico, and since 2013, the UK.
The festival is a multi-media experience, featuring art installations, costumed performers, and of course, music. It's an EDMfestival, so expect techno, trance, house, and electronic music.
